all the vertical lines are supposed to look the same since they all have the same mullions.
But somehow when printing (either vector or raster, physical print or pdf print), some of the vertical lines come out thicker.
does anybody have idea why it's doing this?

Not totally sure why it is doing this. Wish I could be of more help but the only two things that come to mind is to check your linewieghts and to check your print cartridges.

Yes, your print cartridges can cause something similar to this. I have an HP500 and when I am running low it will print lines on the pass as it goes along and I end up with striped drawings.

thanks for reply.
i doubt that it's due to the cartrige since i have tried out 3 different printers in our office.
lineweights should not be the problem either. we've been using the same project setting for over a year and never had any issue such as this.

i've even removed the vertical mullions to get rid of extra lines which could possibly cause the problem but the results are consistently the same so far.
