Tags and Legends

Is it possible to tag a window or door in a legend?

No. It is not possible to tag elements in legend views.

It is unfortunately not possible at the time. Along with dimensioning Walls, and articulating storefront systems.

These are all reasons why weve moved to actually having a Phase exist in the "future" of our models, that has all of our "legends" made out of regular callouts and/or sections, plans, etc.

Not for nothing, but this also makes "pre-detailing" with model groups MUCH MUCH easier... :)

You lost me, but I am intrigued. Could you explain this future phase idea further? What are you doing and how does it solve your problems?

Under Settings > Phases, we added a phase at the end of the project, that doesnt get used for anything project related.G

We have:

EXISTING
PHASE 1
PHASE 2
ANNOTATION

Annotation is a phase we use to make things like legends, partiition schedules, etc. Since all of our schedules happen *during* Phase 1 or Phase 2, they dont count anything in Annotation. We have one floor plan set to "Show New" during that phase, so its like the project isnt there at all.

So we model a bunch of walls, make a call out, and that is our partition schedule. Id PREFER not to use such workarounds, but since we cant tag, cant dim, and cant transfer legends in and out of projects, its only logical...
