To do an Egress plan In Acad I would normally just draw a Pline and list the Pline it would give me the longest egress dstace that i needed. Is there any way to do this with Revit?

You can draw a line in Revit and use the tape measure tool with 'chain' checked on the options bar to get a running total.
You might also check out this thread for a couple of creative solutions.

We have a line based specialty equipment family for tracking distances of Egress paths. Works very easily.
As for calulating the egress requirements, a craft combination of an Area schedule with calculated values, and door tags reporting door capacity and intended use can make short work of an egress diagram. :)

There is an example egress plan using shared parameters in the "Documenting Your Projects Tutorials." The travel distance is calculated in a schedule for you.
