Level callouts w/ same name

We are looking for a way display something other than the level name in the level head callout. I understand that level names must be unique but we would often like to call out different levels with the same name. For example we may have a building with two levels named “T/ Upper Slab” and T/ Lower Slab” but on our plan sheets we would like them to both be presented as “T/ Slab”. I think ideally what I would like is a something along the lines of the “Title on Sheet” parameter available for viewports. I thought about adding a parameter to the level category and creating a custom level head to reference the new parameter but as far as I can tell there is no way to add parameters to the level category. I am interesting in learning how others are handling this.

You can create a generic annotation and have it mimic the appearance of your level head. The label would be an instance parameter text field that you could fill in as required. You can then turn off the level datum head.
