i'm making a site plan with flat avenues as floors and sloping side streets as ramps. it's all really cool except sometimes a ramped street grows a hump. doesn't seem to matter what i set as max slope, length, or width in type parameters. any ideas?
ps using revit 2008 on pc with micosoft xp.

I can't think of what might be causing the hump, but you should be aware that it's possible to use floors and just slope them - either with arrows, or points if you want to do that.
You may find it more flexible than ramps.

thanks for the reply! that sounds interesting. how do you slope a floor? i'm not seeing anything obvious.
btw, i found out the humping went away if i made the ramp profile less complicated, or broke up into multiples.

When you are in sketch mode defining the floor there should be a slope arrow command available on the design bar.
You can also edit points or sub-components of the slab once it is complete. Check the help file under slabs and look for sloped and shape edit.
Post back if you still have problems
