Graphical Column Schedule Limitations

I have created an instance parameter for my project columns to input a URL that links to custom design spreadsheets for each column, located on our office network, the problem is that this affects my Graphical Column Schedule.
When i select my schedule to group similar locations, the schedule recognizes the different URL's i have attached to my columns. I now have dimensionally identical columns appearing multiple times within my Graphical Column Schedule.
Is there any way in which to dictate which parameters to incorporate in the grouping process and/or whether the shcedule can neglect certain parameters.

No unfortunately, they are not like regular schedule.
What happen if you make it a Type parameter?

The only problem with creating it as a type parameter, is that it will apply the URL to all types in the same family, & there are locations throughout the project where the same column type may be used, but are subject to different loading patterns outlined on my spreadsheet.

In terms of the Graphical column schedule, that would eliminate the problem, but then defeats the purpose of what i was trying to achieve.
