Look in http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=7013&highlight=view+range
for the dotted line: change the line style "Beyond" - Settings - Line Styles

Simplest way would be to create an object style line type called balcony, setting the line type as you desire. Turn it off /on in the views you want, controlling the pen weight and line type view by view.

Hello ,
I'm sorry i replied in haste that i dint understand the concept, i tried it out & got ur point that i have to create the balcony wall as an inplace family walls and there giving the subcategory balcony that i made in my object styles category.and only after that i can turn on/off the visibility.
Thanks & sorry to bother u people.
