Fill pattern in a wall

I noticed that when I select a wall and go to its properties I can change the fill pattern clicking in the "coarse scale fill pattern". But If I go to its structure I can change the material, the surface pattern and there is a property called "Cut Pattern". What does control this property? and what is the difference with the "Coarse scale fill pattern"?

If you set your views detail level to 'coarse' (compared to medium or fine) the walls dont show the sub-components and the fill pattern becomes like what you found - very useful, say, for concept plans

And don't forget that you can alwas override a catgory disply in the visiblity/graphics. Your view can be set to medium detail but your walls display coarse.
