Walls, Bearing Walls, and Foundations

Can someone please explain the best practice for controlling the visibility of each? Do I really need to create a workset of my foundation walls just to see them separately? Is there any benefit to designating a wall as bearing or non-bearing, foundation or not?

I did like Mr. Zoog said many moons ago and simply created a phase called foundations,etc;
works for me in terms of hide/show/etc.

As far as best practice, I'll leave that question to the best practitioners :)

Making walls bearing, non-bearing, shear or combined affects how they show in views if you switch the view discipine to structural rather than architectural.
