wall types by interior & exterior

I'd like to hear some of the pros and cons to NOT identifying wall types by interior and exterior. For many of our projects, the interior and exterior finish is 3 coat plaster so I could minimize my wall types by having:
10" wall 2side plaster
10" wall 1side plaster
(this would occur for 5 other wall thicknesses)
versus:
10" wall 2side plaster
10" wall 1side plaster int
10" wall 1side plaster ext

That depends on how you wanna schedule them. Since the function is a type parameter you have to use 2 types if you need to schedule them separately
