column family help..

is there a column family somewhere that has a column that chages sizes from one level to the next?

i need a column that would change from a 30"X30" from level 1 to level to 2 and reduces in size for the rest of the structure height. it would also be ideal to have the ability to schedule the column sizes from level to level.


how is everyone else handling this????

By making more than one column...

If you want to columns to move together you can lock them in to reference planes and move the reference planes when you want to move the columns. This has become the standard way of dealing with concrete columns in our office. If anyone else has any ideas please share them.

thats basically how i have been doing it also. i was just hoping to have it as one single column instead of 2 for scheduling purposes...

Aren't the columns already locked to the grids?
