Waterfall

As a follow up to my query about fire, does anyone know how to make water falling in a water feature look realistic? My efforts so far look like a ribbon of blue plastic and you can see shadows cast on it - not very convincing. I've got it so it's fairly transparent and quite thin, but I feel it needs more interference (?) or another base material to make it more realistic. Any thoughts?

Post processing in Photoshop may be your best bet.

Hey there,
I played with this once. Try using a clear, highly reflective "rippled" glass as the base material and then add streaks of other transparent blue-green plastic material.
