Why is there only Revit in the forum area?

Because you are not looking in the AUGI Forums > ADT General
or ADT 2005 Forums.
Have you attempted the Search function and looked for your issue,
and or entered ADT (you will need to spell it out as ADT is too short
for the search function)
Or, why not ask your question, and it will either get answered, and or
moved into the proper forum should you post it in the 'wrong' one.

Perhaps you entered the forums through the Revit Community? If you enter through the forums, there are plenty of different products represented. - click on the AUGI Forums link in the upper left of the window and you will find plenty of places to explore.

I kind of understand the question. It is confusing when you hit the "Communities" link because often you're looking for the AUTOCAD community.. and suddenly you're swept into Revit Land. Perhaps they should rename it Revit instead... or include an AutoCAD community as well. No wonder Revit users still feel a little out in the cold, have you read their posts? They are down right resentful of Autodesk (which brings up arguements I won't go into here). Even their community is segregated on the AUGI board. True, I understand WHY it's like this (they used to have their own community on a seperate site) but it is confusing to new users of AUGI and it gives the feeling that Revit is the black sheep of the Autodesk family when we should be embracing them instead.
Just my 2 cents..

Brian,
From what I understand, and what has been said here in the past, AUGI is working on creating communities for all of the other products -- I am just not sure when that is going to happen.

Brenda,
That's my understanding as well.. and my "black sheep" comment was a bit strong. Really I was going for that "newbie" viewpoint since that is what this section (New Users) is geared for...

It's obvious the Big Bopper and crew must have read this thread or perhaps Brenda you brought it to light.
Thank you very much for helping to fix this problem on the opening page by changing it to "Product Communities"

It is definitely in the works and I am trying to get some documentation done on it this week.
ADT and General AutoCAD should be the next two communities.
Revit community has been a test base for us. They had a structure and we are trying to make them as welcome as possible as well making them comfortable in their new home.
Pass along any questions about this to me if you wish,

I'm ready to go for the Civil GIS community.......
any reason it can't come on-line with these other two?

Well - sort of. It takes a lot of coordination and development. Each community will be different based on the different needs. There may not be all the different team members that Revit has in each of the other community teams.
ACAD will probably not have as many team members as ADT either.
Community teams will be evolving constantly if things go right.

LOL - In spite of how it appears - I do have a real-full-time job that I have to do as well. Funny how my boss here likes to remind me of that some days!
