No contour of floating viewport

Dear Readers,

I see no contour of the floating viewport in layout1.
The viewport is standing on the layer Vports, and
that layer is ON and Thawed.
Why?

The viewport says it's "clipped", but there is no clipping polyline in the drawing DB. Not sure how that came to be....

I used the command VPMAX and then VPMIN on your posted file and I can now see and select the viewport border.
