spline walls

I made a mass with a spline line then applied a wall to face of mass. This curved wall is acting weird, crashing, won’t show surface patterns, can’t copy windows within it etc.



I’m looking for a way to make a curving wall in revit that won’t have errors, and it is more complex than arcs – I want one continuous wall.

Compund curved surfaces in Revit don't show surface patterns - that's just the way it is.

The issue of the windows probably has more to do with the window than the wall. You may have to change the opening object in the window family to a void in order to cut the wall properly. Or you may have to make the opening and then place a non-hosted window.

Surface patterns on (double) curved walls will be possible in Revit 2009 (unless Autodesk change their minds).
