I am doing a residence with southwestern walls. I would like for the walls to be rounded at the exterior joins. The top of the walls will also lean in somewhat at the top at the joins. Any suggestions at how to accomplish this?

Thanks

I think I can get the rounde corners using the fillet tool. I didn't think I could make a radius that small but maybe I can.

I could do the slanting in of the wall at top if I could edit the profile of a curved wall. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

I think I can do it with a reveal. Is there any problems with this?

Thanks

A reveal is your best bet. Fillets using curved walls have to be 'forced' to join and tend to come unstuck. As for the inwards slope, that's a much harder problem. It may end up being easier to model the exterior skin as a seperate in-place family, and use a blended solid.

This is going to create model management and file size issues. If you can resolve this in detail (typical conditions) I'd go with that...

Could you make a profile and apply it as a sweep in the wall type?

That is what I am currently doing. I am basically making the parapet wall a sweep.

I can not figure this out. The attached JPG shows the sweep that I am trying to use. At the corners the tops of the walls protrude the the other walls. At the corners I actually have three walls. The curved wall, and the two intersectivt walls.

How do I cut out the part of the sweep that I don't want?

Thanks

Have you tried Massing to shape your building ?

I think a sweep is the only way to do it, but I don't know what to do at the corners where the three walls are (see attached jpeg).

A sweep will just not work, due to the curved wall being so short. I would try massing, but I know nothing about massing.

I have come to the conclusion that you can't do these walls in Revit.
