You can use the DIVIDE or MEASURE commands to place either a Point (node) or a Block at equal intervals along lines, arcs, polylines. So you could use a Block that contains just one line.
With DIVIDE you decide how many divisions, with MEASURE you decide the length of the divisions.

The most simple way to do it is as follows:
1) Draw your arc
2) Offset the arc the desired distance
3) Draw your line with a starting point tanget (object snaps) to the arc and projecting in the desired direction.

Sweeet!!! Used the MEASURE command - worked perfectly!!!! It created the nodes exactly where I needed. Maybe OFFSET ALONG AN ARC should be a wish list item. Thanks.

How does that go a specific distance along an arc?
