Since I'm in the mood to break Copy/Monitor my wall moves down.

File>New Project... Template = None, Imperial...

Link in the attached rvt file. Start a copy/monitor map the walls to the same type. Select the Yellow wall and watch it drop down 4' in the process.

The attached file was created by copying a few walls in to the same default template.

I've attached a screen shot showing my new copied walls in Red with the originals linked in black.

Any thoughts?

The base of the wall is attached to the roof in the original model. Since you can't copy the roof the base of the wall defaults to the level. You'll need to edit the profile of the wall rather than attach it to the roof in the original.

I guess I'm going to need to tell all my clients this. They provide the original model for me to copy/monitor.
