Is there a tag that you can drop on a sloped element in a plan view; say a roof tag, or floor tag and have the annotation display the slope information parametrically?

Bummer. I've been looking for that one for a while. Possible wishlist request?

It probably has been requested. We will need to go through the wishlist.
A more broad request was made to allow users access to the data that is in the model. The are many things that are considered 'system' parameters that we don't have access to. In your case, we should be able to make an annotation, and have it access the 'slope' information that is already in the model! Shoot, Revit reports the slope, how come we can't put that info in our own tag?

I would like to have a tag to show roof slope on sections & elevations, with the typical triangle and 6 in 12 labels. It makes too much sense not to be able to do this...

I have tried all of the above tricks and was sort of dissapointed.
For the plan tag you can only assign a shared parameter that attaches to roofs and contains the slope. This at least gives you a one-stop shopping for changing the tags.
For the section elevaton tool I created a symbol which has 2 parameters that are editable and change the triangle as well as the values when you set the roof slope. However it is only parametric with itself. We found that when you placed the tag if the slope was wrong it was obvious since it looked different than the roof.
I too would like to have more 'system' parameters available.
