Hey. Is there a way to find out how much fill is removed by a pad? I created topography, and created a graded region to raise the surrounding grade. It says: 4300 CF net fill, 43800 CF fill, and 39500 CF cut.

When I delete my building pad, the numbers change slightly: 7900 CF net fill, 48800 CF fill, and 40900 CF cut.

So the difference between the amount of cut/fill with/without the pad is: 3600 CF net fill differential (which would be the net amount of fill NOT needed for the footprint of my building); 5000 CF fill differential, and 1400 CF cut differential.

The building footprint is 2700 square feet, and the average amount of cut out of the footprint is maybe 3' deep. That would be roughly equal to 8011 CF of cutting done by the pad/building footprint.

These numbers don't quite equate, in my lack of understanding. Is there a way to figure this out or is it something for the wishlist: That a pad would tell you how much of the grade is cut out to drop the grade to the bottom of the pad.

TIA.
