pilaster cornice sweep works perfectlly, except....

ref to drawings , cornice sweep is held off the main wall to align with the pilaster beyond......It is set up perfectly but at the corner the cornice does not line up....... the gable end wall is one foot shorter....i may just "cheat/paint it in the elevations

You should be able to model that without issue. You may need to remove the sweep and set the corner to miter and replace. Or just try selecting the sweep and dragging the blue grip to the corner.

Yeah you can easily pull the blue grips in a 3D view to get the 2 sweeps to join and miter together. You shouldn't need to change or do anything else, assuming the sweeps are exactly the same height on both walls.
