I came across this yesterday .. bit expensive but well reviewed

www.eizo.com

& I've just seen an ad for Apple Cinema Displays ~

Anyone know about or have any feedback on either of these?

Note triple the cost of a good CRT but the Eizo is the first LCD I've seen which is supposed to be as good if not better

Roger,

The Apple Cinemas are awesome monitors. The new ones can be connected to a PC. However, they are quite expensive - around 2500USD.

I've been using the Dell UltraSharp 2001FP monitors and find them very nice, both for CAD/BIM and PhotoShop. I run them from a DVI port. They're not "that" expensive either (810USD). However, they cannot be color calibrated. So, if that's a capability you're looking for, you should look at a different LCD monitor. They work GREAT for what I need though.

Nice piece of kit and the high resolution is relatively unusual in a flat screen, no doubt a part of what pushes up the price so much.
