Are integral wall sweeps schedulable? For example, I created an integral wall sweep under my foundation wall type for my footing, unfortunately it does not schedule in my wall material takeoff. I also looked at a multi-category take-off but no avail.
Thanks,

Hi! Alas..currently there is no way to do this with embedded sweeps unless someone has come up with a work around....?

Interesting...what's the point of allowing a user to use integral wall sweeps but not allow it to schedule?

Well...Not everyone whom is doing design does quantity take offs. As a matter of fact quite a few architects do not provide quantity take-offs because of liability issues. They leave this to the cost estimator.
Generally when I am doing training or office implementations/pilot project launches I inform the users about the plus(s) and minus(s) of using embedded sweeps vs. host sweeps among other things.

You could "schedule" them based on the wall length. Add project parameters for a yes/ no parameter for wall sweep and a text or material parameter for description. Make a wall schedule for all walls in the project and fill out this info. Then make another wall schedule and filter based on the sweep yes/no parameter. This way you can get the length of the sweep. You can add more parameters for height, depth, area, etc if you want.
Its a bas-akwards way of scheduling them but at least your schedule will update parametrically.

Is it save / reliable to use wall length to schedule a wall sweep ?
- dragged wall sweep ends beyond wall ends.
- changed sweep returns and dragged sweep ends
- wall openings are not taken into account.
