Scheduling Question

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to figure out why a schedule has multiple occurrences of the same parameter field. Does anyone know how Revit defines this list? Is there a reason why I have multiple choices of parameter fields?

I have found that this occurs when you create a parameter for the schedule within the project and then load a family that has a parameter/ shared parameter of the same name.

No, I'm not using a scheduling key. I would, but most of my families fall under different categories. That's why I was using a multi-category schedule. I'm trying to list all equipment in a room. This includes specialty equipment, mechanical, piping & generic models. I would love to setup my one category, but I heard this is hard coded, and I would just break things.

When I setup these families, I used a shared parameters list. I thought doing this would keep all of these parameters the same.

Sounds like this needs a cold one to help lession the blow.
