2005 brightness

I'm trying to find out why the new 2005 displays images "darker" than 2002.
I can't find an option that might affect this.
any thoughts would be helpful.

I had the opposite problem. My images would come out very bright. Almost pure white.

Have you installed the latest service pack for raster? For me, reinstalling raster fixed the image problem.
