Set "Next Counter" back to One

I am working on a pipe network where I have had to re-insert a couple of inlets numerous times. I'm trying out a newly created part and changing the labeling of them. I got the "next counter" to work, but rather than labeling it as the true number in the network, it's labeling it as if the ones I deleted are still part of the network. How do I get it to renumber the structures as 1,2,3, etc.again instead of 24,25,26, etc.?

Go into the pipe network properties, the last tab says statistics click on it, expand the pipes change it to 1. Done
