Sweep Problems

Okay i'm having some serious problems with sweep placement. I'll add a sweep to a wall. Come back later and want to add another segment to another wall and it always adds the sweep to the inside of the wall. The only way to get it to work is to delete the origional sweep and do it all at once. Is there a way to fix this?

So my own work around is to go to the (3D) view, turn off the roof and click the inside of the wall. Really odd but at least it's working.
