View Full Version : Unwanted Merging of Curtain Grid Lines

I'm trying to create a pattern of curtain grids for a complex wall. The grids that are 10 or 20 feet apart are doing great. But when I try to create a new grid line within a couple feet of an existing grid line... they are merging, and moving around surrounding grids lines.

Is there a tolerance setting or something that I am triggering by accident.

Thanks.

Moving around surrounding grids...

Grid lines will try to snap to common poins in the panel (i.e. 1/3 of panel, mid point of panel).
But you can place the grids anywhere and then select the grid and click "Activate Dimensions". From there, you can type any distance you want from the surrounding grid lines.

Yeah.... that's the problem. I'll type the dimension exactly as I need it, and it will go there.... but the one that is 3" away will disappear and the two panels will merge.

is this a curtain system with pre-defined grids and you are trying to manually add more grids to it? Any pins or constraints to the grids?

Is there any chance you can post just the curtain wall, so we can take a better look at it?
