I am having an issue when trying to export sheet views from Revit Architecture to AutoCAD. In the attached file I have two plan views placed on a sheet. The one on the right is from level one and was created as a dependent view. View one the left of the sheet is just a regular view, not a dependent. The problem when I export the sheet to CAD is that the dimensions from the dependent view do not seem to export out to AutoCAD. The ones from the regular view on the left seem to be fine but my original project has 5 dependent views per floor. Is there any explanation for why this may be occurring or if somebody has seen this happen before?

I downloaded your Revit file, opened it and exported to DWG. All worked fine. See attached.

Then I tried to export as separated files, as version 2004, etc... All worked.
Sorry not to give you the answer where the problem is, but at least we know that it's not a bug in Revit, since it works here...

The solution I stumbled across was if I had the Parent view open when I exported out the dependant views or sheets with the dependant views in them the dimensions would then be exported, unlike before. Odd solution, but that is what I figured out would work.

That's odd. I don't remeber doing that. I just opened your file (I think it was on a sheet view...) and exported it to DWG. Since it worked, then I began trying different things to see if the problem was somewhere else. No luck (or lucky!), all the ways I tried to export, worked. :)
