Dear All
I was wondering if anyone has used screening in their projects in elevations to represent colors on their elevations. For instance, since all drawings are printed in black, varying shades of gray are used to represent the different colors. I'm not sure how to do this in Revit. Please advice! Thank you!

I figured it out! It's as simple as applying solid fill colors to the wall finishes and then changing the RGB values to achieve different shades of gray. Th only catch is that this will not generate gradients.

Are you aware that in Revit 2008 you can select the object in elevation (one wall for instance), right click it and Override Graphics in View? You can do it by element and change each wall appearance as you like.

Sure Andre, thank you! I tried this method just now. The trouble over here is there are several kinds of changes within one elevation plane and these overrides are per view. Unfortunately there are 3D views within the set with mark ups and these colors need to be reflected too.
