I have this window with 'muntins' which I downloaded. I has show muntins checked in the properties but they never show up. Can someone tell me how to turn them on or show me where to get casements and transoms with adjustable muntins or grilles?
Thanks

It seems the family was built to only show the muntins in Fine visibility.

Yes, that is correct. You can change the visibility so that it will show up in other views as well. However, the muntins carry with them certain processor usage so that is why I decided to make them visible only in fine view.

Thanks guys! Such a simple solution but I never would have figured it out.

oops! Now I realize I need a patio/french door with muntins to match the casements. Can anyone point me in that direction?

Thanks in advance!

Search my threads or go to revit city. I have the Andersen FWH and FWO series created and already posted. However not yet sliding FWG.

After your help I realized I needed to place the Andersen Window Casement family including the xls and txt file in the window library. After inserting there seem to be too many lines composing the frame. I am wondering how to simplify the display in elevation so the the frame is not a mass of black lines.

I tried turning offf several components in the elevation view visibility settings, but now can actually see a gap around the window frame into the inside of the house. What I really need is a simple casement included with Revit but with mullions and various sizes. It looks like this would be standard.

Any suggestions?

Did you try changing the line weight of the windows so it is not so heavy?

The geometry could be simplified as well.

You could take the muntins that Steven Campbell posted, or the ones that I modified from him and posted (that are nested in the Andersen windows) and nest them into a simple casement window.

Well, I have been limping through this house trying to learn Revit and now I have to finish it up because the client/friend wants it sooner than expected. I have not tackle families and have no intention of doing so until this project is soon finished. I expected all the families to be included like Archicad.

I have modified your andersen french doors and casements and mostly have what I need except for the single french with grills. I am thinking I might have to export to Autocad in order to finish this project.

If you havn't had the time to learn how to add muntions to your window syet, just use the stock windows and draft in muntin lines as needed just to get the project out the door. You don't always have to model everything if you don't have time.;-)
