New Install of Revit

I just installed Revit. Should I also Install the new build SP3.???
What about SP & SP2.????

If you downloaded from the Autodesk website (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=9408083), then you should already have SP3. Every new build is a full version, and you need to uninstall the old build from that version in order to install the improved 'patched' build.

One little technicality...SP3 is really SP4, if you download the software right now or after the middle of January 2008 then you have the second release of Revit called SP3. The build number which is a better definition of version is 20080101_2345. The build number is displayed when you click the Help menu and choose either Product License and Information or About then the Product Information button. Note that Service Pack as a term is not displayed in the first and displayed as "0" in the latter...

The first SP3 was made available in 2007 and a leap year bug forced another build right after the new year and the short time frame they chose to refer to it as the same SP3. Confused? Thought not... :smile:
