Ladies and Gentlemen -

I am finishing up an outline for a class at Autodesk University at the end of the year called, "Schedule anything with Autodesk Revit". The class is a lecture that runs 90 minutes and I have about 120 minutes worth of material and I was in the midst of cutting it down, when it hit me. Most of the scheduling I will be discussing will be relatively standard and straight forward. I should put in 10-15 minutes of non-standard, advanced and/or unusual schedules and techniques.

While I would like to think that I could dream up many unusual ways of using the scheduling within Revit, I am only human. That's when I thought, "where could I get some good ideas and solutions for such a topic - The Forums of course.!!!"

So, if you have an unusual scheduling technique, need or even a problem please respond to this thread or PM me with them. Please know that I like to provide a "Bonus CD" with my class handouts and your techniques could very well end up on such a CD. Of course your name and company would appear on the label and on the content itself if I use it. At this point in time I am not planning making a CD for this class, but you never know.

What do you schedule?
How do you customize schedules?
Do you take advantage of formulas in schedules?
Do you export schedules? What do you do with exported data?
Do you have any tips or tricks you commonly use in schedules? (My favorite is the right-click hide column command.)
How do you use note blocks?
Are you using filtering?
Etc. etc. etc....

Thanks and do what you can to attend AU this year, it is going to be a hoot -

I'll be taking your class, Jim. I would vote for you to cover note blocks and the techniques discussed in another recent thread to develop & cull notes from a master list.
