Hello,
I've been working on a couple of room/door schedules using tables in Autocad 2008. Intermittently, after editing portions of the table, I will recieve a message after trying to save reading (paraphrasing) "unable to save drawing, command still active"

As far as I can tell, there is no command still active, as I can start a new command, and it will work. Once I have gotten that message, the only way I can save the drawing is to exit out of the file, choosing to save with the pop-up box. The drawing will save this way.

I have been so far unable to recreate this problem on purpose, and it only seems to happen when I least need it to.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Have you tried to AUDIT your drawing?

After spending some time on it last night I found out that Merging cells would cause this problem. It only did it however when I used the Merge button on the Table tool bar. Using the Merge command from the right-click menu would not cause the problem.
Here's the message I recieve from it

Document "*FileName*.dwg" has a command in progress.
Hit enter to cancel or [Retry]:

Ok thanks for sharing. I for one don't use the table tool bar only right-click to merge so I never had this problem, but this will be useful info for others.
