Hi,
I really need help on this one.
How to make a good, convincing material of sea water in AutoCAD?
It has to be done in CAD, no Max or Maya or any other software because the CAD is all I have.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok..First you should draw surface plane to make water and proper enviroment.next you will create proper camera view and set for lighting. That is important. Then you can create seawater material by material editor. You must create new material with below setting.
Type ---- Realistic
Template ---- User define---water
you can change from userdefine dropdown list to water.Next you can click from Bump map(under map type) image to make water surface texture. This image is black and white color of rough texture(eg..concrete texture).Water surface type(eg..smooth,rough,slowly,windy) depend on bump map image texture. Then you can set bump map amount value about .65.Now you can click by color (near the template)to make water color as you like. Finally, you can attach water material to your surface plane and render it.May be ok your test.
Ps...Don't forget to adjust material scaling if you need water surface texture to realistic.
