View Full Version : Revit 2009 View Cube???

I was reading the new features guide for Revit 2009 and I came across this statement

"View Cube and Steering Wheels are navigation tools that allow you to navigate 2D and 3D views in Revit Architecture. These tools replace the Dynamic view commands that were available in 2D and 3D views in previous releases of Revit Architecture."

So my question is... Does the View Cube & Steering Wheel replace the control center mouse rotate commands when in a 3D view? Or will the new features be in addition to the existing navigation of the Revit model with your center mouse button?? Zooming in and out, Pan & 3D Orbit/Rotate....

Can any of you Autodesk Specialist Clarify this as of yet, or do we still have to wait until the 15th of April when Revit 2009 ships?

Thanks
Todd

The new features are in addition to what you are used to. The mouse buttons still work the same way and F8 now brings up the steering wheel instead of the Dynamically Modify View dialogue that is in the current release.
