View Full Version : "Blue dots" in linked structural file...

Hello:

Here's a simple question...

We've linked a Revit structure model into one of our projects. Each structural column has a blue dot at its insertion point. I've tried to turn these dots off using Visibility Graphics, but I just can't seem to locate the correct category.

How do you turn off those pesky dots?

These are the "Analytical Model" and you need to edit the visibility graphics settings for the view and make sure you check the display all categories options in visibility graphics so you can select it to turn it off. I don't have Revit available right now and I'm blanking on the actual terms. I'll fix'em later.

Steve's got it...the key is making sure you check the box to display all categories from disciplines (I think that's close...I don't have Revit in front of me either) when editing the visibility graphics of the link. When you expand the Structural Column category you'll be able to turn off the Anylitical sub-category.
