View Full Version : Create object style for sketches?

Typically what we have been doing for a sketch is to create a "duplicate view with detailing". Then add this view to a sketch titleblock. The issue is when we go to reprint our original (full-size) set, we have to individually hide each call-out and section-mark that was created as the duplicate for the sketches. What I would like to do is create an object style and assign these sketches (sections and callouts) to an object style so that I can globally hide them.

To me it sounds easy in theory but I need some guidance! Please help!
Thanks

One work-around is to assign each detail reference to a discipline that you would otherwise not use. For instance, assign all your duplicate sketch details to "mechanical", and they won't appear on plans assigned to "architectural".

That's a good idea! Not ideal but it would work! What is everyone else doing?
Thanks
