Folder view in 2000i

Just got a new machine with XP on it and am running 2000i

The problem is is that when opening/saving a file the view is not remembered. It is always shown as large icons, even when i change it. As soon as i go back again it is large icons

How to i make it remember the folder views?

Looks like it is a problem with running 2000i on XP

Will have to put up with the problem until we are forced to upgrade to 2005
