creating block - error message pops up

Hi all. I am trying to create a block that has a tag and prompt to enter in basic info. However when I try to insert my block, a funny error comes up that says"the tag cannot be null or contain spaces".
It's really frustating, because when i just open the block by itself as a drawing, you can enter in the values with spaces - no error pops up.

Any info would be helpful

Does this happen with every block? Can you post one of the blocks in question?

do you have spaces in the attribute tag? that's a no-no for the discovered reason. you can only have spaces in the prompt and the attribute content.

also, since you are on 2004, i can safely assume it's not a dynamic block, and will move it to the appropriate forum. ;)
