The AutoCAD download from the ADSK website doesnt have the same code as the Suite version. So if you use that one you will need to reinstall when you get your package.

So there is no way to download Revit Suite (AutoCAD + Revit). Is this official or is it simply a case of no one knowing the correct link.

Daniel is correct the AutoCAD that is available for download has a different product code. It will not register with a Revit Suite Serial Number. The AutoCAD portion of the Revit suite is not available for download.

If I told you I would have to send someone to take you out. ;)

Seriously...I have no idea why this is the case with Revit Suite. ???

I have found that I can't install the download of AutoCAD 2009 onto a PC that has Revit Suite, but I can install AutoCAD 2009 and run it off a Revit Suite network license.

Could it have to do with the cascading licence feature?
