As this is my first post on AUGI forum id just like to say a quick hi to you all. Hi!!
As you can probably tell, I have an issue with exporting a Navisworks .nwc from my MEP2008. When I export the .nwc it isn't incorporating the xref’s. I’m pretty new to using Navisworks and just wondered if it was something simple like a system variable.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you!

Hi Craig,
First Welcome to AUGI and congrats on your first post. :)
Please note I have ~moved~ this thread from the AMEP General (http://www.forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=785)forum to this one as I feel it will be better served here.
As for your question, the first thing I would check is in Navisworks go to Tools - Global Options - DWG/DXF/SAT tab and check the Convert Xrefs check box.
Hope this helps,

Thank you for your reply
I had checked the options in navisworks any as default they were ticked.
I have also tried adding the support file path to the folder containing both model and xref model, had no affect :(

Are you using NWCOUT in AMEP or are you opening the drawing in Navis in order to create the NWC?
I've had better luck opening the drawing in Navis and having Navis create the needed NWC files.

Yes
:Are you opening the drawing in Navis in order to create the NWC?
I am also using CadDuct, do you need an object enabler to be able to view the CadDuct items when opening a dwg in Navisworks?
The thing i cant get my head around is i have exactly the same setup on my laptop and "nwcout" exports the drawing and xrefs without a problem.

Yes you need an object enabler for cadduct, you can download it here http://www.cadduct.com/additional.html

Have you upgraded MEP versions since you last installed Navis?
Navis may not be aware of MEP 2008 yet...
I'd recommend trying an uninstall/reinstall of your Navis product on the troubled system.
