Find and Replace in AutoCAD 2009

I am having a problem with the find and replace feature in ACAD 2009. The company I work for has some very detailed, sometimes cluttered drawings, and when I type in the text that I am looking for, it zooms in to the peice in question, but when I close the dialog box, the screen zooms back out. Is there a setting that needs to be changed or is there something I'm doing wrong?

To zoom to and highlight each result individually, leave the List Results check box unchecked.
you will find more results
double click for each results it will be zoom in

Service Pack 1 fixes this - the documentation on AutoDesk website doesn't mention this.
