I have 4 types of Dormer assembly, and about 30 of each type in the project. They're very simple - 3 walls, a flat roof and a window. I'm trying to use Groups to create the copies, but the Dormer Opening seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to actually cutting the roof. Sometimes it cuts, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes, it cuts, but the top edge of the hole is vertical instead of horizontal (which looks completely daft in section)
Has anyone come across similar problems and solved them? Or are Dormer Groups a fundamentally bad idea?
(I've just upgraded to 2009 and the problem persists)
