Need to rotate a linked revit project

Hi all,

My site model (hilly terrain on lakefront) has a model of the house (RAC2008) linked into it. I need to rotate the linked file but nothing happens when I try to use the rotate command after selecting the linked model in a site plan view.

Move works, but not rotate. What is the secret to making this happen?

Have you tried selecting "Disjoin" when rotating?

okay...now I feel silly.
yep- disjoin worked. Not sure I understand yet what it was joined to, but I will accept the situation for what it is.
