Revit Crashes when changing printers

Hi All,

I have been experiencing crashes when I change for a PDF995 plotter to the local printer. It's not only this exact modification; it's every second plotter switch. Has anyone else noticed crashes when changing printers? Is this a known issue?

In the past I seen Revit crash when the driver that the plotter uses is out of sync between the server and the local pc. Assuming you are using a server environment, what happens is the server has a plotter driver and that driver gets downloaded to your computer when you add the printer. Later IT updates the driver and for some reason your pc doesn't acquire the newer driver. Try to print with Revit using that plotter and it crashes. You have to deliberately remove the driver from your pc and allow the server to provide the newer one. If this happen when you try to print to the same plotter...could be it. If it is happening regardless of the printer/plotter you choose...then probably not.
