I am trying to draw cable tray in 3D and the default angle is 90 degrees but I want to change it. How can I make my angles whatever I want them to be? I have been exploding the angles and piecing together and editing them but I know there has to be a better way to do this. Also are there any good books that focus on drawing in 3D? Until recently I have mostly done 2D work and I am gonna need more and more 3d skills in the future.

Hi BT. I don't understand the question.
Can you give more description or a sketch of what you are trying to do?

Not sure what type/brand of tray you're working with, but you might look at Cablofil. They've got a good ACAD plugin and makes tray layout pretty easy.
For myself I've built a small library of bends and angles in the various sizes (12"x2", 12"x4" etc...) then made my 30's and 45's. The same goes with height transitions and saddles. I just use them as standard blocks.
Unless you're trying to do a project as complex as say, a data center, it should give you a good start.
