Is there a way to modify the tile bar in Land Desktop 2008 to show a shorter autocad title? I'm running AutoCAD Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion 2008 and that is exactly what shows in the title + the project name + the full drawing path. Since the damn title is so long, I can't see the tail end of the drawing path.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Do you just want to omit the drawing path?
The setting is in Options on the "Open and Save" tab.

Welcome to AUGI and congrats on your first post.
Rick, I think he wants to delete the "Autocad Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion 2008" from the title bar and just leave his file path. I'm not sure that can be done. Can it?

you're right, dzatto. I want to get rid of Autocad 3D ... title. I know how to get rid of the path, but the title has proven to be a more difficult story. I've tried looking in the 'sdsk.dfm' file, but I can't find anything in there. Maybe there's a registry key somewhere, but I couldn't find one either.
