Hi everyone, I couldn't find anything here in AUGI about this.
I work in ADT 2006 and know nothing about 2008. I was trying to help a new user who has 2008 LT, attach an image to a drawing and just couldn't figure out how.

I searched the 'help menu and it showed me how to load and unload images through the reference manager (or whatever it's called) but NOT how to initially attach an image.

If I just type "image" like in 2006, I get that stupid reference manager thing without any button to hit for attaching an image.

Any information will be appreciated.

Try the insert OLE Objects.

LT don't have attach image, my advice is to insert the image in a complete version (full) and then use Lt and the image is in the drawing.

That kind of makes sense to me, in the 'help menu it talked about the ability to load and unload images only. What your saying is LT won't allow you to attach an image, just load or unload after the fact?

Thanks

Lt is cheaper than normal AutoCAD, its that reason that are several tools and commands that dont work... :-( the people who choose LT earn some money but loses some functions...

the reason is only one... "money"

There's ton's of posts in the LT forum about it. Including this one (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?p=835063#post835063).

In the meantime, you can purchase an addin that enables image attachment. See here (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?p=835063#post835063).
