Raster 2008

I am having many problems with Raster 2008. I woek with Sid and Ortho files using the Image> insert command which works about 1/2 the time. I get a fatal error and it knocks me out of Autocad. Then I have to recover the drawing and try again. If I get the image inserted correctly, sometimes when I reload it the image is distorted, so I need to detach and re-attach to get it to work. Also, am having problems with the draw order whenI print. On the print preview, all looks good but the text or linework disappear when it prints. And the last problem I am having is as sson as I hit the 'properties' toolbar I get a "fatal error" and it knocks me out of Autocad once again. Any help, suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you may had some of the SID files that are in the weird compressed format that AutoCAD is having trouble with. Try inserting them in a blank dwg and then save as a TIF file, then use the TIF in your projects.
